Randy O’Hara and his wife, Maureen, went on a month-long trip to the east coast this summer, where Randy captured this incredible scene at Moreton’s Harbour in Newfoundland. In his post, he tells us that Moreton’s Harbour is mentioned in the lyrics to that famous folk song, “ I’se The B’y.”
This image of an elk was captured by Juergen Trotz. He had set out to get a shot of the sunset but the clouds had other ideas. Luckily, he saw this while he was out, and although the elk is but a small portion of the frame, the vastness of the scene reminds us that there is a lot of open space in the world, even when we think we’re getting too crowded.
Maureen Elliott’s image of a man walking his dog is this week’s feature. The thick fog gives this image a sense of mystery and allows the viewer to create their own story about what lies beyond the field of view.
