This image of an elk was captured by Juergen Trotz. He had set out to get a shot of the sunset but the clouds had other ideas. Luckily, he saw this while he was out, and although the elk is but a small portion of the frame, the vastness of the scene reminds us that there is a lot of open space in the world, even when we think we’re getting too crowded.
Maureen Elliott’s image of a man walking his dog is this week’s feature. The thick fog gives this image a sense of mystery and allows the viewer to create their own story about what lies beyond the field of view.
