We hope everyone is well and enjoying summer. Don’t forget the new season will be starting in September, keep an eye out for updates on possible in-person meetings – depending on Covid numbers and advice.
The new season of member assignments can be found on the Calendar page here, the assignment for September is the traditional “Summer Favorite”.
Don’t forget to send in your submissions for this months assignment – Black and White – by Tuesday 27th. If you remember the original aim was to use at least one image from a previous assignment, either a Black and White original you entered, or converting a colour image to B&W. Then the second image can be any B&W image, but we are not too strict, so any two B&W images will do!
Hope everyone is having a goos start to the summer. Although we aren’t meeting till September don’t forget the July and August Assignments. The July Assignment “Composition with a purpose” is due in by this Sunday so you have a short time left to get composing!
Time is fast approaching for members to submit their images for the next assignment – Inspiring Landscapes. Entries should be in by 25th May.
Don’t forget to get you entries in for the April Assignment – Bird’s Eye View, these need to be in by last thing on 30th March.
Don’t forget to get your Fruit and Veg image entries in for the next assignment, closing date is midnight 23rd February. This time you might be able to eat your subjects after you have taken them!
I hope everyone has been shaking and moving their cameras around for this months assignment ICM (Intentional Camera Movement). Members images should be submitted by midnight January 26th so we can create the video for the next virtual meeting.
Hope everyone is still keeping safe and well. I expect you have all been finding interesting things to photograph for the December assignment – Up Close (what is it?). There is lots of opportunintes for taking objects from interesting angles, so see what you can come up with. The cut-off date for entries in Tuesday 24th November.
We hope everyone had a good summer, well photographically at least, and are now ready for Fall. This months assignment is “Before/After (In Camera/Editing)”. So we need two images, one original and one after you have edited it, let’s see what you can come up with.
The deadline for entries has been extended till 9th October 🙂
As we start the new 2020/21 OSCC season we have our regular first assignment of “Summer Favorites”, which can be any image taken during this summer. Entries are due by next Tuesday, 25th August, so if you don’t have anything yet you have a few more days left.
