We had a good turn out for the last meeting, the weather was fortunately not too bad on the evening. There were several news items for the members
- The club still has a exhibition in the Full Spectrum Gallery in FotoArt, Owen Sound.
- There will be a chance to enter for the club exhibition in the Library this summer – exact dates to follow – the theme will be “Abandoned”.
- Bill gave a preview of what we might expect on a trip to the Cambridge Butterfly conservatory – details on the Upcoming Events side bar.
We went through the 55 images entered for this months assignment, these are now on the website here. There was a good variety and it generated a good discussion on some of the images.
For the workshop section Randy covered some basic image editing pointers and some specific tips on using the FastStone editing program.
Terry Welton gave us a preview of “Vision”, a quarterly publication showcasing the work of local photographers he is looking to publish. More details at the Quik Media site.
