I bought my first Canon Rebel T3 camera in Sept, 2013 and I joined the Owen Sound Camera Club a month later. I have been having a blast ever since.

I upgraded to a Canon 60D in 2015 and then acquired a 24-105 luxury lens in 2016 with a second Canon 60D camera. I tried shooting weddings, portraits, macro, you name it, I tried it. I finally settled on landscape photography as my favourite type to shoot. I love a good waterfall using an ND filter which can consume my attention for hours. In 2025 I made a major leap to a Canon R5 Mark II which I needed to upgrade my Mac to process the photos. Both were major upgrades and I continue to have a blast.
