I sparked an interest in photography at an early age and continue to learn what I can whenever I can.
As a self taught photographer, I rely on the endless resources available on the internet as well as the wealth of knowledge that can be gained from my peers. I joined the Owen Sound Camera Club in January, 2005. I spent the 2006-07 season as President, and built them a website that has not only marked their place in the World Wide Web, but helped the club grow to nearly twice the size it was prior to joining. I began my second tenure as President in September of 2012 and love how the club has grown over the years to upwards of fifty members.
I have published an eBook about my transition from shooting with a DSLR to now just using my iPhone. I have written a book about macro photography with the iPhone and am waiting for it to be printed..
As a life long resident of Owen Sound and the surrounding area, I enjoy Formula 1 racing, listening to technology podcasts, and of course, photography. To capture my vision of the world as I see it, I rely on an iPhone 12 Pro Max and a selection of macro lenses from Reeflex, Moment and Struman Optics.
